Classic Cabinetry
Beautiful Quality Cabinetry Throughout Your Entire Home

Classic Cabinetry, now in its sixth year of operation, was created specifically for the client who wants choices – lots of choices- when designing, remodeling or building a home. Founder Becky Worley and her professional design team understand that individual desires, needs and styles are uniquely varied; the goal when opening Classic Cabinetry was to provide multiple options in function, features, finishes, cabinetry lines and price ranges for even the most discerning customer. “We believe clients should be able to select both affordable and high-end, furniture-grade cabinetry from the same designer, and use them in the same home,” says Becky. “Our emphasis is on individualized design and access to beautiful quality cabinetry throughout our entire home.

While the designers at Classic spend a great deal of time designing cabinetry for baths, libraries, media rooms, laundry and other rooms of the home, they all agree that the kitchen is the real living room of the home. Personalizing the kitchen to the family’s lifestyle and use of the space is of primary importance. Whether planning space around the needs of a gourmet cook or simply making sure there’s room for a child to do homework, each client’s specific needs are taken into consideration.

Susan Campbell, Juliet Privette and Lauren Thomason all hold degrees in interior design from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and concentrate their talents on cabinetry design. They work not only with the homeowner but also with architects, contractors and interior designers: satisfying so many varying opinions and preferences is all part of the service. Offering quality cabinetry lines such as Plato Woodwork, Medallion, Dura

Supreme, Ward’s and Executive enables our design and installation teams to consistently deliver precisely what the customer originally envisioned. The designers all agree that working with quality products and highly skilled installers makes designing for clients satisfying and enjoyable.

The Classic Cabinetry team is very excited to have been chosen as the exclusive cabinetry provider for the upcoming Chattanooga Symphony and Opera Guild Decorator Showhouse scheduled for Fall 2006. Cabinetry from Classic will be integrated into all areas of the home. “Design work on this wonderful Country French home has been ongoing for over a year and cabinetry installation will start soon,” says Becky.

Whether you are a seasoned homebuilder…someone just contemplating building for the first time…or a current homeowner looking to renovate and remodel…Classic Cabinerty is ready to provide YOU with the creative diversity and beauty that have become our

trademarks. We invite you to visit our premier showroom at 2525 South Broad St., Suite 101, Chattanooga, TN from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday; better still, call (423)266-0077 for an appointment with one of the designers so that time can be dedicated to you and your project.

John Jewell – Crye-Leike Commercial
Service. Knowledge. Integrity.

You must admit you’ve seen the significant progress in Chattanooga and the surrounding area over the past years. John Jewell has been a catalyst for more than his share of the commercial development taking place. Since moving to Chattanooga in 2000 he has immersed himself and built one of the strongest commercial franchises to deal with.

After spending seven years with Merrill Lynch building a solid financial background, John built on his family’s experience in commercial real estate in South Carolina. “Having been exposed to the business through my father, I knew this was for me.” John commented. “I’ve participated in commercial real estate from both sides; as the business owner and the property owner. I know what it takes and work harder and smarter than most. Visibility, traffic patterns, planned growth areas, and of course feasibility are key to retail, while zoning, centrality, property features, and flexibility are most critical to industrial users. Additionally, John states it is critical in many cases to involve city, county and state personnel to make the deal work, and he does it consistently.

John’s business has doubled each year he’s been in commercial real estate. His staff now includes Dianna Huskey, office assistant, Marcia Petty, personal assistant and coordinator (his right hand), and a full marketing team. The team has over 50 years combined experience. “I am also looking to hire an additional member to work with Buyer’s and Lessees, but I’m willing to wait for the right person.” John states. “We strive every day to accomplish our team motto “SERVICE, KNOWLEDGE, INTEGRITY.” And I don’t take that lightly.”

John has attended and continues to attend Certified Commercial Investment Member

(CCIM) pro-grams, currently is a member of the Tennessee Association of Realtors Commercial Forum for 2006 and 2007, and is member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. As if that is not enough, John was also Commercial Agent of the Year in 2005 at Crye-Leike. Be sure to visit his website at www.tngacommercial.com or send him a message at john.jewell@crye-leike.com.

“We’ve sold multi-million dollar apartment complexes, industrial sites, raw land for commercial, mixed-use and residential development, and lots of income producing property. Fairly priced income producing property is moving quickly even

with the recent bump in interest rates. We can’t find enough of it for our clients.”

Current projects include the Clark Centre at Market and Main Street downtown (a mixed use property with retail space for lease and condominiums above), The Fleetwood Commons development at 11th Street and King Street (features office space for lease and apartments for rent beginning in July), several tracts of land, additional office and retail space for lease, warehouse flex-space, etc., etc. Feel free to stop by his office at 1201-C Market Street across from the Development Resource Center or call John at 423.296.1447. If you are buying, selling or leasing be sure to contact John Jewell.

Closet Factory Works Wonders!!
If Only Your Life was This Organized!

Closet Factory in Chattanooga is the custom storage solution authority in town. Their unique philosophy of “built around you” allows Closet Factory to approach each of its clients as an individual and to design a storage system that will fit their specifications exactly based on organization, aesthetic and budgetary requirements. Closet Factory works with homeowners at any stage whether it is new construction, a remodeling project or an existing closet. Builders and interior designers are also their clients.

Since 1983, Closet Factory has grown from its original Los Angeles headquarters to 100 locations that service most major American cities including a few select international locations. In fact, they were one of the first companies that helped to start the closet organization industry.

Cynthia Olive, the Closet Factory

Closets used to be an afterthought or luxury; increasingly they are becoming necessities for many people. The old adage, “a place for everything and everything in its place” rings true now more than ever. As our lives get busier, being organized can save time and energy and greatly reduce the frustration level for many people.

Due to their extensive product line and professionally-trained design consultants, Closet Factory can work wonders with even the tiniest space. “We sometimes have clients who think we can’t do anything for them because their closet is so small--then we amaze them with our magic.” chuckles Cynthia Olive, manager of the Closet Factory in Chattanooga.

Clients are also impressed with the quality of their workmanship on high-end custom stained cabinetry style closets.

Since Closet Factory has its own factory in Chattanooga, they maintain complete control over each project from design to construction to installation. Even their drawers are custom built to client specifications. Pre-fabricated products of inferior quality material are simply not acceptable. According to Cynthia Olive, “Our Operations Manager, Sean O’Malley, and lead installer, Chad Ratto, have each been with the company 5 or more years. I have yet to see a design or installation concern that these two guys haven’t been able to find a solution for. They make a great team.”

Closets are not the only product that Closet Factory provides to the growing organization market. Wallbeds, garages, home offices, pantries or home theaters also fall into their area of expertise. Closet Factory will soon be launching the “Collections” line of cabinetry that will expand their storage solution options to include the entire room.

With space at a premium in cost per square foot for housing, the complete utilization of space has become a greater necessity. Closet Factory can help you get a bigger house without getting a bigger house. They can be reached at 423-698-3344 or www. closet factory.com.

Be a friend, Be a Mentor… Just Be There!
100 Years of Youth Mentoring

This year Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Chattanooga celebrates its 50th anniversary providing professionally supported, one-to-one mentoring relationships to children who need and want them. Volunteers are screened and approved as “Bigs” then matched to a waiting little brother or little sister. Volunteers are asked to see their “little” twice a month for at least one year. Matches in the “community based program” spend time together doing a variety of things such as visiting museums, going to the park, going out to eat, going to a ball game, or whatever they both enjoy doing! There are also opportunities for volunteers to spend an hour a week with a child at their school in our “school based program.”

Being a mentor does not mean being perfect. It’s the simple things in life that form our favorite memories. Just being a friend to a child and spending time with them can make a world of difference. Currently we have approximately 300 children waiting for a Big Brother or Big Sister. Our greatest need is for Big Brothers, particularly those Big Brothers of minority heritage. Married couples and

families can also work together and be a “couples” or “family” match to one or more littles. Big Brothers Big Sisters sponsors group activities for matches, and many community attractions offer free or discounted admissions to bigs and littles. For more information or to volunteer please call: (423) 698-8016. We are located at the corner of Bailey and Willow Avenue in the Highland Park area.

Signs By Tomorrow
Imagine it…we can do it.

If Einstein had not been able to communicate his ideas, where would we be today? Communication is the key, and Signs by Tomorrow does just that. It communicates what a business can offer to potential customers in bold, dramatic, eye-catching ways from outdoor banners to trade show displays.

Chattanoogans, Gil and Kathy Dake, are a husband and wife team that moved back home three years ago to start Signs by Tomorrow, a franchise with an established reputation. The Dakes take this known reliability and invest it with their own desire to provide responsive and caring customer service. “We work to establish a cooperative partnership with our customers in

order to fully understand and meet their needs and exceed their expectations,” they explain.

“We are a solutions provider. Signs by Tomorrow changes the way businesses communicate. We create impact by leveraging our knowledge, experience, and a passion for solutions. As a progressive and customer centric business, we help our customers maximize their visual communications.”

One way in which they bring their customers’ visions to reality is by using the latest in technology. A new state of the art wide format, full color printer creates outdoor durable banners and vehicle graphics and wraps.

Examples can be seen in their lobby at 5250C Brainerd Road, Chattanooga TN 37411. Contact information is 423-296-8988 and (fax) 423-296-8987; website: www.signsbytomorrow.com/chattanooga and email: chattanooga@signsbytomorrow.com.
